Color Impressions, Inc. is a full-service Commercial Printer located in Wichita Kansas. We are a privately held corporation in business since 1971, celebrating more than 35 years of quality, service and value for our customers. We specialize in but are not limited to fast, efficient and economical production of 1 to 4 color process printed materials that include: Sale sheets, catalogs, flyers, brochures, direct mail, posters, books and manuals. We print on sheet sizes up to 28” x 40”. Our newly remodeled production facility has over 21,000 square feet. We offer the latest technology with DTP (Direct to Plate) in our Pre-press department through our Bindery department where we can finish your items in-house to include all types of folding, saddle stitching, perfect binding and plastic coil and wire-o-binding. As well, we offer complete point of purchase fulfillment and drop shipment services to many of our nationwide clients. In addition to offering the latest in conventional printing, Color Impressions has our digital print division, located within our corporate facility. Here, we offer hi-speed Digital Color and Black & White copying of all kinds on sheet sizes up to 12” x 18” and stocks up to 12pt. caliper! This is great for posters, business cards, and many other types of "Got to have it now" projects. |

We utilize the latest RIP hardware and technology from Rampage Systems Inc. This RIP allows us "In-rip trapping" of multiple Pantone colors and all types of CMYK files. With the (ROOM) Rip Once, Output Many configuration, no more hidden text wraps in your electronic proofs to the finished product. It also works with Press Optimized PDF's, the future of DTP files! |

Our pressroom operates two Komori Lithrone presses. We also operate a 2-color or 1-color over 1-color Perfecting 41" Miller press, and support smaller printing projects with our 1-color and 2-color Hamada presses. |

Bindery

Our bindery has Micro-Cut computers on both of our Pivano cutters. We have the best folding equipment available with an MBO & two Stahl folders - both continuous and pile fed models. Our stitcher/trimmer is a 6-pocket model with 2 additional stations for those really big books. Standard 3-hole drilling and refolding (for the best mailing prices available) are done in-line on our stitcher! Other bindery services include perfect bound books, eyelet brass riveted tags (regular tag, synthetic plastic or Tyvek stocks), one or two sided lamination, UV coating, and die cutting. |
